My Experience With WriteSeed: Why I No Longer Recommend It

I am publishing this because I believe consumers should be able to share honest experiences with online services they paid for.

This post reflects my personal experience, based on my own account history, payment records, screenshots, and communications. I am not asking anyone to contact, harass, threaten, or retaliate against anyone connected to WriteSeed. This is a consumer review.

What Happened

I purchased access to WriteSeed using my own account and payment method.

After using the service, I left a negative review based on my experience. After that review was posted, I received a direct message from Hendrik, who I understood to be connected to WriteSeed.

In that message, he offered to make things right by providing upgraded access if I removed the negative review.

I did not agree to remove my review in exchange for upgraded access.

After that, my paid access to the app was removed. I did not receive a refund at that time. I also did not receive a clear explanation showing what policy I supposedly violated.

That is the core issue: I paid for access, left an honest negative review, declined an offer tied to removing that review, and then lost access to the service without a refund.

Why This Concerns Me

I believe consumers should be able to leave honest reviews without pressure to delete or change them.

In my opinion, offering upgraded access in exchange for removing a negative review is not how a trustworthy company should handle criticism. If a company believes a review is inaccurate, it can respond publicly, provide evidence, issue a refund, or resolve the service issue directly.

What it should not do, in my opinion, is pressure the customer to remove a review and then revoke paid access after the customer refuses.

Website and Security Issues

After the dispute escalated, my WordPress website received a suspicious login attempt from an IP address associated with Germany.

I cannot independently confirm who was behind that login attempt. I am not stating that WriteSeed or Hendrik performed that attempt. I am only stating that the timing was concerning to me, and I preserved the relevant screenshots and logs.

Separately, my website was later reported and taken down after I published my review. I was told the issue related to harassment. I dispute that characterization.

My intent was to share a factual consumer experience, not to harass, threaten, dox, or encourage others to contact anyone.

Current Status

As of this writing:

  • I paid for access to WriteSeed.
  • My access was removed.
  • I have not received a refund.
  • I preserved screenshots of the direct messages and account issue.
  • I am disputing the payment through the appropriate payment channel.
  • I am filing consumer complaints with the appropriate agencies.

My Opinion

Based on my experience, I do not recommend WriteSeed.

The service issue itself was frustrating, but the bigger problem was the handling of the negative review afterward. A company that stands behind its product should not need to pressure customers to remove criticism.

My view is simple: if a customer paid for access, either provide the access, clearly explain the policy violation, or issue a refund.

Final Note

This post is not a call for anyone to harass, threaten, contact, or retaliate against WriteSeed, Hendrik, or anyone else.

It is a record of my consumer experience and my opinion based on that experience.

If WriteSeed believes any specific factual statement in this post is inaccurate, they may contact me with documentation, and I will review it in good faith.
